♦ Embryol. || Œuf télolécithe ou télolécithique : œuf caractérisé par un volume considérable de vitellus localisé à l'un des pôles (reptiles, oiseaux). — On dit aussi mégalécithe (ou mégalécithique) et polylécithe (ou polylécithique).

0 Dans les gros œufs (Oiseaux, etc.), la séparation du vitellus et du cytoplasme est complète. Le cytoplasme est localisé au pôle supérieur, en un petit disque, la cicatricule, le vitellus formant toute la masse du jaune. Ces œufs sont dits télolécithes.
